Furoshoki Night success and Kirknewton Community Card holder offer

Furoshoki

As part of our recycling and reducing waste initiative we invited Jeni along from Furoshoki Workshops for an evening learning the ancient art of Furoshoki. Jeni was fabulous and taught us several different ways to wrap our gifts using a reusable piece of cloth. We had a brilliant night learning all these techniques and about the origins of this amazing art. We look forward to seeing some beautifully wrapped Christmas presents.

We are going to try and run another workshop in January and another one for children so if you are interested in either can you drop me an email or message DebbieKCDT (email debbiekirknewton@gmail.com)

We have also managed to negotiate at 10% discount of any wraps you buy in you are a Kirknewton Community Card holder. Just type KIRKNEWTON in at the checkout to apply the code.  If you don’t have your FREE Kirknewton Community Card then ask about it at the Festival Stores shop. https://www.furoshiki-giftwrap.co.uk/about-us
