Kirknewton Resource Centre starts being built

The first community owned building in Kirknewton – the Kirknewton Resource Centre – has started being built on the Old Gospel Hall site today. This zero energy development is being built by the community for the community. This project is part financed by the Scottish Government and the European Community West Lothian Leader 2008 – 2013 programme. Thanks also to the Big Lottery Fund for their support. We are mindful that Scottish Water and Network Rail works may cause disruption in the village so hope our works will cause minimal inconvenience to you all.
